Message	rod bolts. The one I can see looks like it was broken in shear rather than tension, which leads me to think the opposite one failed first. Also, did you find the ends of the bolts? If so, were the nuts still threaded onto each one? The broken rod looks to be due to some of the debris that found its way up into that cylinder and mechanically jammed the rod.
